ART AS AN IMPRINT

These thumbprint portraits are fascinating personalised works of art. Cheryl Sorg takes the pattern of a person’s thumbprint and creates a large (three feet high!), colourful collage, recreating its unique patterns using cuttings of books and images to represent their favourite things, loves and interests. Cheryl describes the results as, “truly one-of-a-kind portraits that capture a person’s personality and passions”.
